Our artist, Mark, has been making sinks, and dinnerware for over 30 years. This is a reduction, high fired (Cone 10) stoneware piece for maximum durability. Each piece will accomadate a standard size drain (drain is 1 1/4" to 1 3/4"). The standard shape is rounded in approximately a 16 " in diameter (Each sink will vary some). The carved area is filled with a clear glaze to make cleaning easy. As with all our sinks, we recommend a professional installation. Handcrafted pieces are not exact in size. This sink has a lifetime warranty for any defects related to the potters work. Each piece is wheel thrown, decorated and fired by Mark. Available as a rim mount, undermount or as a vessel, above counter mounted sink. Vessel sinks include full glazing and carving (if ordered with carving) on both sides.
