Spider Metal Art will protect your garden from unwanted pests. Each Spider is made out of a World War II army helmet. "War is fast and peace is slow". Our artist's granfathers served their country (see below) which led to artist's inspiration relating to army-surplus goods. These pieces sell nationally for $100 but Mug Heaven has made a special arrangement with our local artist. These pieces are approximately 22" long and 12" in height.

Our artist, Fred's granfather was on the USS Downs at Pearl Harbor. His other granfather worked at McDonnel Douglas on the wing design of F4-U Corsair. It' no wonder where Fred got his inspiration for working with army-navy surplus gear. He loves to see other people's reaction to metal taking shape and coming to life!
