Lady Bug Metal Art are cutest addition to any garden...happy, smiling, slow moving, little creatures! Each lady bug is made out of a World War II army helmet. "War is fast and peace is slow". Our artist's granfathers served their country (see below) which led to artist's inspiration relating to army-surplus goods. These pieces sell nationally for $100 but Mug Heaven has made a special arrangement with our local artist. These pieces are approximately 12-14" in height and 15" in length.

Our artist, Fred's granfather was on the USS Downs at Pearl Harbor. His other granfather worked at McDonnel Douglas on the wing design of F4-U Corsair. It' no wonder where Fred got his inspiration for working with army-navy surplus gear. He loves to see other people's reaction to metal taking shape and coming to life!
