This makes a great gift and great alternative to a traditional candle. It's a butter rum, natural glaze color. (Two weeks to ship) The oil burner lasts a long time with little maintainence.

How it Works:
Your oil candle has a fiberglass wick which will conduct the oil and last many years. (unlike cotton wicking which burns away). Each oil burner is approximately 4 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches wide. Fill your oil candle with lamp oil ( found at the hardware store ) and soak your wick. You need to pull wick thru bead and soak both ends in lamp oil for 5 minutes - this is priming the wick. Then, pull the wick back thru the bead till you have about 1/8 inch showing and light the wick ( one end will be in the oil candle). You will see black smoke and while holding the bead pull the wick down further until there is no black smoke ( much the same way you adjust a kerosene lamp). You will experience a flame that is about the size you get when you are using a one inch taper. Enjoy!!! Don't forget to check out the other pieces we carry by this artist.
