The French Butter Dish keeps your butter fresh and spreadable. Just pack the butter into the lid, fill the base about 1/3 with water, and an airtight seal occurs when the lid is placed on the base. Keep your butter out on the table or counter and it's always soft and at hand. (comes with instruction card) Choose from four colors below: Blue (shown), Taffy , Off-white, and Green. Each comes with a cork top and the name Garlic on the jar. Great gift idea! Each piece is Microwave/Dishwasher/Oven/Food Safe and uses lead-free glazes. Each Jar is wheel thrown with handbuilt handle and fired to Cone 10. As with all handcrafted pottery, size and color vary from piece to piece, making each piece a one-of-a-kind!
