This is beautiful cremation Urn, handmade by our master potter in a southwestern motiff. Each Urn is about eight inches tall and the cord is nylon. Our potter has made these for 25 years for a local Crematorium.
Details: These are high-fired stoneware (2385 degrees, Cone 8) for maximum durability. As with all hand crafted pottery the coloring and size will vary from piece to piece, making each piece a one-of-a-kind. k below ("Same Artist Pieces").

Our artist Mr. Rowe, a Louisville, Kentucky native, has been selling his functional stoneware since 1971. He is the former director of Metro Arts Center, taught ceramics at Spalding University and since 1981. In the early eighty's, he pursued a career as a full-time production potter, but in recent years has returned to place more emphasis on his art. "My skills with the materials, which allow me to express myself the way I do, are a direct result of my ability to throw a form repeatedly with consistency and accuracy. That period honed my technical skills."
