This mug is superbly crafted in a drip of turqoise green blue with red and blue tones.(Click on pics above for larger view). Each mug is about 15 ounces and is approximately 4 and 3/8 inches in height and about 3 1/4 inches wide (4 1/2 inches wide including the handle). Each mug is made of white stoneware - lead-free, microwavable, dishwasher & oven safe. These are high-fired stoneware (Cone 6) for maximum durability. As with all hand crafted pottery, the coloring will vary some from piece to piece, making each piece a one-of-a-kind. Artist: From start to finish, every step is crucial. We begin with the raw clay which is molded, shaped, thrown, jiggered or pressed. Each piece is then trimmed by hand. When the desired shape is attained, the piece is dried on a shelf or in the sun. Since 1985, Dan has created a palette of designs that are as magical as the unending horizon.
