This colorful, handcrafted, porcelain birdhouse makes a wonderful gift! This birdhouse attracts wrens, finches and chickadees (smaller birds). Each birdhouse has ventilation holes at the top, a custom fitted cedar perch and removable top for easy cleaning. Each bird house is hand constructed from two pieces, assembled when wet, then hand carved and glazed...designed for year around outdoor use. Complete with braided metal cable, ready to hang!
Specifications: Each Arts and Crafts Style bird house is approximately 8 and 1/2 inches high and 7 inches wide at the widest point of the roof. They each weigh about 3 pounds and are high fired at 2350 degrees for durability. This design is a blue and green glaze color. The Arts and Crafte Style bird house is also available in the Iron Ash glaze (blue, tan, browns), selectable below. All three birdhouse styles are pictured above, from left to right: Arts & Craft, Mission and Zen. You can see them individually by clicking on "Same Artist Pottery" link below. As with all handcrafted pottery, the size and color vary slightly from piece to piece. This a lead-free pottery.
