This mug is superbly crafted in a rich, cranberry red glaze. (Click on pic above for larger view). Each mug is 10-13 ounces (small mug), approximately 4 to 4.5" in height. These are high-fired (2400 degrees) for maximum durability. As with all hand crafted pottery the coloring and size will vary from piece to piece, making each piece a one-of-a-kind. Our potter is a west coaster, making pottery for over 25 years. We fire at that high temperature to get the most durable product possible. ost esthetic glaze results, in our opinion, possible. We fire in a reduction atmosphere... which helps create esthetically pleasing pieces.
