A great handcrafted mug design representing the pine tree. Sit back, sip your coffee and listen to the wind blow through the pines! . The mug is formed on the potter's wheel and then the pine cones are carefully crafted and added to the piece. Next, they are hand painted, making no two mugs exactly alike. Each piece is microwave safe, dishwasher safe and lead-free. Each piece is holds approximately 8-10 ounces. Each mug measures approximately 3 inches in height and 3 1/2 inches in diameter (with handle 4 1/2 to 5 inches wide). As with all handcrafted pottery, the pottery color/glaze varies slightly from piece to piece. Ships USPS Priority.

The Artist: "Anne Marie first discovered her love of pottery almost 25 years ago after watching a master potter working his wheel. To her then untrained eye, it appeared that the potter made the clay rise up almost as if by magic. She was hooked! Later she became a student of the master potter who had so inspired her, Ralph Conklin. While training under Maestro Conklin, she also began taking classes at Northwestern Michigan College, Muskegon Community College.
