This lovely, flower mug is first formed on the Potter's wheel. Then the flowers are hand formed and applied to the mug, making each piece it's own unique work of art. And as with all of my functional pottery, it is Microwave, lead-free,foodsafe and Dishwasher safe. Each piece is holds approximately 8-10 ounces. Each mug measures approximately 3 inches in height and 3 1/2 inches in diameter (with handle 4 1/2 to 5 inches wide). As with all handcrafted pottery, the pottery color/glaze varies slightly from piece to piece. Ships USPS Priority.

The Artist: "Anne Marie first discovered her love of pottery almost 25 years ago after watching a master potter working his wheel. To her then untrained eye, it appeared that the potter made the clay rise up almost as if by magic. She was hooked! Later she became a student of the master potter who had so inspired her, Ralph Conklin. While training under Maestro Conklin, she also began taking classes at Northwestern Michigan College, Muskegon Community College.
