This is our artist's newest piece. Not only a beautiful glaze and functional...it's a great buy too! (Click on pic above for larger view). This set includes the Lamp with Brass burner with a 1 inch wide wick and glass chimney. The ceramic base is Handcrafted Stoneware standing 7 inches wide x 4.25 inches high with carved, footed base. The total height with a 8.5 inch glass chimney is 12.75 inches. The oil burned is a standard lamp oil available at any hardware store. As with all hand crafted pottery the coloring and size will vary from piece to piece, making each piece a one-of-a-kind. Our potter, Mayra, is a west coaster, making pottery for over 20 years. "As well as designing and handcrafting each piece I also formulate the glazes. In respect to the glazes I love that which is reminiscent of rock; the surface and the colors, while still being functional, and that which feels good to the touch while in use."
