Tara Earth Handcarved Teapot Bamboo Handle

This is a highly unique, beautiful, bamboo handled Tea Pot that makes a gift of a lifetime! The pictures you see are the actual piece, which was all handcarved. (Click on pic above for larger view). The Tara Earth Tea Pot holds about 48 ounces and is approximatley 7 1/2 inches high (top of clay tea pot)and 10 1/2 inches high including the handle. These are high-fired, stoneware pieces (2300 + degrees, Cone 10) for maximum durability. Each piece is lead free and food safe. As with all hand crafted pottery the coloring and size will vary from piece to piece, making each piece a one-of-a-kind. Our potter, Mayra, is a west coaster, making pottery for over 20 years. "As well as designing and handcrafting each piece I also formulate the glazes. In respect to the glazes I love that which is reminiscent of rock; the surface and the colors, while still being functional, and that which feels good to the touch while in use."
