This is an absolute show piece, carved, oval bowl with a unique, blue sky, clouds on a desert plain motif. (Click on pic above for larger view). Great functional piece or for display. Each bowl is approximately 12 inches long by 6 inches in width. These are high-fired, stoneware pieces (2300 + degrees, Cone 10) for maximum durability. Each piece is lead free, dishwasher and microwave safe. As with all hand crafted pottery the coloring and size will vary from piece to piece, making each piece a one-of-a-kind. Our potter, Mayra, is a west coaster, making pottery for over 20 years. "As well as designing and handcrafting each piece I also formulate the glazes.
