Wow....a beautiful mix of four glazes including blue, flax (yellow to cream), rust and victorian green (lighter green). (Click on pic above for larger view). These are high-fired (9-10 Cone Reduction) for maximum durability. Other dinner pieces and sets are available upon request, made to order. As with all hand crafted pottery the coloring and size will vary slightly from piece to piece. Artist Statement: "From the flaze fields in central US, we have developed a beautiful and functional galze. We receive the gift of the flax straw after harvest from our local farmers. The straw is set on fire to obtain the ash for our new glaze. This glaze adds the beautiful amber to yellow in color."
