The Sedona Moon with Brush Design glaze is a very popular glaze in mugs and as dinnerware sets (7 inch bowl, salad plate, mugs). (Click on pic above for larger view). Each piece is uniquely, handcrafted in this stunning blue glaze by Mayra, our US Potter. There will be variations of the glaze application and brush designs on each piece, though the colors will stay pretty much true. These are high-fired, stoneware pieces (2300 + degrees, Cone 10) for maximum durability. Allow 5-6 weeks for dinnerware sets. Each piece is lead free, dishwasher and microwave safe. As with all hand crafted pottery the coloring and size will vary from piece to piece, making each piece a one-of-a-kind. Our potter, Mayra, is a west coaster, making pottery for over 20 years. "As well as designing and handcrafting each piece I also formulate the glazes. In respect to the glazes I love that which is reminiscent of rock; the surface and the colors, while still being functional, and that which feels good to the touch while in use."
