About US:
Mug Heaven LLC. began in
Utah in 1999 and are now located in North Carolina. We began with mugs, then added all types of handcrafted pottery from top US/North American Artists! Currently, we are creating one of the largest handcrafted pottery and other handmade stores in the country which will include handcrafted sinks, jewelry, glass art, outdoor and garden pieces, specialty furniture and more. The principals of Mug Heaven are avid pottery and handcrafted collectors for over twenty years. We're always amazed at the unique creations in all the handcrafted mediums. We grew up in North Carolina, not far from Seagrove NC, home to one of the largest concentrations of Potters in the US.
We really enjoy looking at various art pieces and searching
for those elusive, unique pieces. However the time it takes to find these
pieces which is a luxury most of us cannot afford, and so Mug Heaven was born.
All of the pottery and handcrafted pieces we offer are hand crafted in
the USA. Each piece is signed/marked by the Artist. There are no mass
produced pieces here! Each functional piece of pottery is; dishwasher/microwave/oven
safe and lead-free, unless noted otherwise in the description.

Shipping:
 Mug
Pieces: We ship to US destinations only as this time.
We normally ship in 3-5 business days from
the order receipt on stock items, unless otherwise noted in the piece description. If there
will be a delay, we email you as soon as possible. If for any we can not ship that week, we will
email notify you immeidately as to the estimated delivery time. We charge
the average cost of shipping and handling ($7.50 per mug/small piece,
$2.50 (as of 2-27-07) for each additional mug/small piece from the same artist).
We take special care to package our pieces carefully to minimize breakage.
We use UPS, Federal Express and the United States Postal Service, depending upon the
piece. We try to accommadate special shipping requests. Just add your request
to the "Order Notes" section when placing an order or email
us. Alternately, look in our "Fast Ship" category. This items ship the fastest, most consistantly. We offer discounts on shipping multiple quantities of any Same Artist
Pottery. These discounts make buying sets of mugs or pieces very economical.

Dinnerware (Discounts, deposits and Shipping):
Discounts:
Here's the discount schedule:
? 2 pieces or more = 5 percent discount
? 4 pieces or more = 10 percent discount
? 8 pieces or more = 15 percent discount
Shipping Overview: Mug Heaven's shipping and handling costs are designed
to break even only. All orders are shipped insured. Some larger orders, over
$200, may require a signature from the customer at delivery. When you
order additional "Same Artist Pottery", your shipping costs
drop significantly (See Shipping Costs below)!
Shipping
Lead Time for Dinnerware Sets and Sinks is generally 3 to 12 weeks. Check specific
Dinnerware choice for more exact delivery time. Mugs are shipped weekly.
Shipping
Costs: (Based on size and weight)
? Items come in four sizes; small (mugs), medium, large, extra
large and Dinnerware Sets. Shipping costs are generally based on average cost by
size. The following are approximate shipping costs by size:
Small Items: $7 for first piece
Medium Items: $8.50 for first piece
Large Items: $10.75 for first piece
Extra Large: $13.50 for first piece
Additional items from the same artist, on the
same order are discounted approximately 60%. These are approximate
numbers only. Each piece will vary slightly.
Deposit: A minimum 50% deposit is required for
custom orders (Dinnerware Sets) over $300, due when you place order. You'll see the separate
deposit area in your shopping cart. Your remaining order cost is charged
when your order actually ships. Deposit is refundable or partially refundable, depending
on completion percentage of your order.
Guarantee: 14-day
money back guarantee with all stock orders. If an order is returned for
any reason, other than damage, the customer pays for the shipping
costs. Dinnerware customers are encouraged to order a small piece
of the pottery they like, to verify they like the glaze color. As
with all handcrafted pottery, color and size vary from piece to piece
(See Dinnerware Tips below). If a product is no longer available,
you will be contacted immediately, and promptly refunded any prepaid
deposits.
Damaged Shipment: In case of damaged shipment,
email or call Mug Heaven support. Please keep the broken piece(s)
in the original packaging, until we contact you. The shipping carrier
may wish to inspect the piece and shipping boxÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂæso keep these
materials until after you have checked your shipment. Please send us a digital peice
of the broken piece to expedite replacement, if possible. We'll replace
any broken piece at no charge to you but let us know asap.
Returns: Please contact us for an RMA return number. The return address you return the piece to will not be the our headquarter address on the packing slips included with orders. Any returns should be sent with insurance, tracking and with original packing materials. All returns
require a RMA number from Mug Heaven customer support. Mug Heaven
is not responsible for any damage during return shipment. When you
wish to order pottery pieces that match the mugs, please note the
delivery times in their descriptions. These pieces may take
1-6 weeks for delivery.
Dinnerware Tips:
? Carefully read the description
of each Dinnerware piece you're interested in
? High temperature fired pottery (2400 degree) is generally
the most durable
? Matt finishes tend to show wear faster than glossy finishes
? Avoid sudden temperature changes will all handcrafted pottery
? Getting pottery to match from different firings is difficult.
This is especially true with the high-temperature, reduction atmosphere
pottery. For this reason, and the in case of breakage over the years,
some customers order extras of some pieces.
? Lower temperature firing can generally produce more vivid
colors but are generally not as durable as high-temperature fired
pottery.
? Mug Heaven makes no life-time warranties. We will replace
flawed or damages pieces within the guidelines above.

Payment Options:
Mugheaven accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal. We
also accept personal and cashier checks. All checks must clear our Bank and your bank, before processing
order (Average time is 10 days.

Anytime you order greater than one piece, from the same artist, you'll

Gift Note:
You can include an gift note on any order. Each order comes with a gift note field which allows you to add your gift note. You only need to add the note once. Prices are never
included in shipment packing lists.

Care of Handcrafted Pottery:
? Place in a cool
oven and heat slowly.
? Do not place pottery directly on hot stove
? Any special care instructions will be listed on the detail
of the individual mug. As a general rule (99%) for functional pottery, every piece is lead free, microwave safe, dishwasher safe, food safe. Any exceptions would be noted in the piece description area.

Variance of Handmade Pottery:
Pottery is hand made, some
variations in size and color should be expected in every piece. All of our pottery
is first quality and guaranteed against defects in workmanship. This variation in pottery
is exactly what potters strive to make. In this age of mass production,
you'll find uniqueness in each piece. We think it would be very dull to
open the kiln and see all the pieces exactly the same. In pottery, each
piece has its very own character.

Backorders/Out of Stock:
If you find a mug or
pottery piece you wish that's "Out of Stock", you can backorder
the mug, by emailing Mug Heaven, and telling us which mug or piece you would like. We'll email
you when the mug becomes available for you to order. This normally takes
about five weeks, which is standard for handcrafted pottery. Thanks
